About Me

Welcome to my blog! If you're here that means you likely took a chance on me. Thank you!

I've been writing stories since I was about nine years old. There's something so relaxing about creating worlds, characters, and situations. I didn't first start sharing my work until 2006 when I discovered FictionPress. The community of readers and fellow writers really helped build my confidence. I'm now pleased to share my novels on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Smashwords. I write romantic comedies and supernatural YA novels (at the moment... I'm a pretty eclectic writer). I am actively editing and writing a million projects.

I wrote my first series, KILLING MEMORIES, several years ago. They are my first completed novels and I am proud of them (bumps, typos, silliness and all). While they can stand alone, it's best if you read them in order to experience to growth of all of the characters. You'll miss out if you stop at book one, I promise.

Currently working on: The sixth novel in the KILLING MEMORIES series while thinking about books two and three of my supernatural YA trilogy, THE SPIRIT KEEPER.

Note: If you got a copy of KILLING MEMORIES a while ago and just got around to reading it, sorry about the typos and errors. The first posting of the book had a lot of problems, but it has since been revised (and it will say so in the description). It's still free so you should go download a new copy!

  3. I tried to find your other books in the Killing Memories series on Amazon but they weren't listed until I found this site and clicked through here. You may want to contact them and make sure that all of your books are linked to your author's page. I'm glad that I happened upon your site or I would have thought you hadn't finished the second book in the series yet. =(

I LOVED Killing Memories and look forward to reading the next books in the series! YAY! Caleb is officially my dream guy!

    1. Thanks for letting me know that my other two books aren't linked on my Amazon author page. I have to figure out who to contact to get that fixed!! I hope you enjoy the other two books--the fourth one will be out soon!

  4. I have been reading the killing memories series on Kindle. Let me say this first: I have purchased three of them so I have enjoyed them. I wanted to let you know there are several errors in the books. I don't know if it's related to putting on an ereader or what, but they aren't regular typos. It's cases of words being omitted or two words meaning the same thing in a sentence or using the word "his" when it's about a woman. Is it a difficult task to fix electronic books once they're published? I'm sure you could talk a few of your readers into helping you proofread it before publishing. I hope this doesn't come off as snarky, but it does take away from the enjoyment of the read.

    1. Hi Renee! Thanks for your message. I didn't take it to be snarky :).

I am aware that there are errors in the books and I have been working very hard to correct them. When you self publish and you stare at your work over and over and over again, it can be hard to spot things. It's like my brain auto-corrects and I don't see the his/her mistakes or the missing words. I do have beta readers and proof readers who help me, but no one is perfect. It's my goal to get the novels as polished as I can. If people tell me of a particular error and are specific, I go in and edit the e-file, but I don't get a lot of that. Mostly it's people saying that my grammar and editing are terrible, which I don't agree with to be honest. But these types of things are going to affect people differently. Some readers will be able to skim over them and some get so irate that they leave a bad review and return the books. So... I mean, I can't please everyone. I just want people to know that I do care and that I am working on it... it's finding the time to re-edit that's the trouble. I have considered looking into hiring someone to proof all of the books, but even in that things could slip through. Plus, there's the cost to think about.

Anyway, thank you for leaving me a message. I'm sorry that the typos and missed words took a little of your enjoyment away. I am working on them, I promise!

  5. I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love your books! And just so you realize the magnitude of this I haven't read anything that hasn't had a vampire, werewolf, witch, or other supernatural/mythical creature in it in a few years. Your books are so engaging, visual, and well written. I even got my friend at work hooked on them because I was laughing out loud so much and just so engrossed that I didn't hear half of what she said when I was reading (I apologized.). I just wanted you to know that you took a supernatural snob out of her shell showed her there's more to books than hot, sexy vampires...not that I'm going to stop reading them lol

    1. Oh my gosh, this comment is so wonderful for so many reasons! Thank you so much for leaving me a message (please leave a similar review wherever you got the books!). I'm glad that I could pull you away from the supernatural just for a little bit. (BTW, I'm a big supernatural fan as well and have a trilogy in the works.) Again, thank you! I may use some of your comment here for blurbs in future books :)

    2. A supernatural trilogy?? My brain is like totally salivating right now (lol sorry to sound like a giddy fangirl)! I can't tell you how exciting that sounds. I am sure that it is going to be fantastic! Wow! That would be so awesome!

  6. Hi Tatiana, I read a lot. but never loved an author so much that I look for everything that she has written. I downloaded KM1 on 22 March because I needed something light (work is stressful) and the reviews were so high. It's 30 March today and I have downloaded Killing Models and Hostile Kisses (just so I have it!). The spelling mistakes and grammatical errors are there and it does take a way a little, but...you make me laugh out loud - even on the tube enroute to work! So thank you. I love that Es isn't skinny, I love that she has ethnicity to her and the passion she has with Caleb - well, I jumped my husband one night after being inspired, so please keep writing. You capture what we need (laughter, love and a little drama) so very well. :)
